Cytochrom

Ein Molekül, das in Chloroplasten und Mitochondrien vorkommt. Strukturell verwandt sowohl mit Chlorophyll als auch mit Hämoglobin. Der Name bedeutet so viel wie »Zellfarbstoff«.
»Myoglobin« ist auch noch ein reuzvolles Stichwort.
