the Australian pop group yothu yindi is very succesful. Their music combines Aboriginal instruments with mordern ones. They protest against the situation of the Aborigines, but at the sametime ask all Austalians to live together peacfully and respect the land. Lead singer Mandawuy Yunupingu says: Iuse white man's skills and Aboriginal skills and put them together for a new beginning.
