maybe it wouldn't have been unangenehm for the person to hear, if, eventually, the person did not feel anything like love for you at all?
or else, maybe the person you loved was loving someone else for months, years, decades, and never even considered ever letting you in?
or, even more likely, your main and only problem is your cowardness. not daring to tell the other person, the one you currently think you love, that something strange happened to you, wrong place, wrong moment, wrong time, never asked for, coincidentally, which turned your universe upside down and made you confuse all of your feelings towards anybody in question?
