In einer mir nicht näher bekannten amerikanischen Highschool-Sitcom beschloß der in solchen Serien immer auftretende Losertyp, an seinem Image zu arbeiten. Als ersten Schritt legte er sich eine blaugetönte Halbbrille zu. Als er so in die Schule kam, begegnete er einem Freund, und es entspann sich folgender amüsanter Dialog:

- So what do you think of my new glasses?
- Hey, they're really cool! You look like JohnLennon!
- John who?
- Oh, never mind. A popstar from the seventies.

Während für Paul McCartney Brian Wilson der grösste Musiker aller Zeiten war und der Song 'God only knows'
das Beste, was je geschrieben wurde, meinte John Lennon zu diesen Thema lapidar: »Wilson interessiert mich nicht«.
