Glotze

Das sogenannte Wohnzimmer (engl. living rum) ist eigentlich das Glotzorium. Die Glotze beherrscht es vollständig. Sie nimmt den prominentesten Platz ein, und der Rest wird von den gepolsterten Liegeflächen eingenommen, welche dem glotzophonieren dienen. Völlig hingegeben lagern die Glotzophonisten in kuschelige Decken eingehüllt, bei Bier und Chips - alternativ: Kräutertee und Haferplätzchen - den Blick starr auf die Glotze gewandt in einem Zustande völliger Entrückung. Gelegentlich fließt Speichel aus ihren Mundwinkeln, und jede Bewegung wird als lästig empfunden. Sämtliche Denk- und Empfindungsprozesse verlangsamen sich, und all das, was aus der Glotze strömt, wird ohne jede Hemmungen vom Gehirn resorbiert, ohne daß der Glotzophonist dies zur Kenntnis nimmt.
