Atlantis

Viele Leute haben Atlantis sonstwo gesucht, aber meiner Meinung nach lag es in Großbritannien. Diese Insel passt ganz gut zu Platons Beschreibung; selbst Städte mit konzentrischen Wall- und Grabenringen hat es dort gegeben. Natürlich ist GB nicht im Meer versunken, aber das tun Inseln der Größe nun mal nicht. Santorin könnte eine Kolonie von Atlantis gewesen sein, deren Untergang Platon schildert. Es geht also um zwei Inseln: eine große im Atlantik, die noch da ist (Großbritannien), und eine kleine im Mittelmeer, die hopsging (Santorin).

Die Zivilisation von Atlantis ist wohl auch mit den Elben identisch, von denen in der germanischen und keltischen Mythologie die Rede ist. Denn wenn man von Germanien aus nach Westen segelte, kam man nun mal nach Großbritannien.
Der keltische Name »Inis Albion« bedeutet »Insel der Elben«.

Atlantis liegt unter der Antarktis!
Alte Landkarten beweisen, dass Menschen die Küsten und Flüsse unter dem Eispanzer kannten.
Die Erdachse verschob sich und Ihr Kontinent vereiste.
Nachdem Atlantis vor über ca. 8000 Jahre unter dem Eis versunken ist, verteilten sich die Bewohner in Amerika und Europa.
Sie sind in den 7000 Jahre alten Felszeichnungen von Alta in riesigen Schiffen verewigt.
Sie bauten überall Monumente zur Sonnenbeobachtung (Steinkreise, Pyramiden, NewGrange, ...)
Zu jeder Sonnenwende prüften Sie hier ob die Erdachse sich erneut verschoben hat. Und eine neue Weltkatastrophe begann.

donovan war mir ja bisher schon aufgrund der in »love will find a way« und »universal soldier« vertretenen penetrant-naiven weltsicht recht suspekt. dass er aber jetzt zusammen mit den no angels seinen alten hit »atlantis« als titellied des gleichnamigen diney-filmes neu aufgelegt hat, um noch mal richtig abzukassieren, lässt ihn in meiner achtung noch unter paul mccartney sinken.
